Letter from the Superintendent
Welcome to the web
site of the Millbury Public Schools. With it we hope to provide you
with information about our schools and community.
Our approximately 2,000 students are educated in three
schools:
- Elmwood
Street School, a 625 student primary school grades Preschool - 3
- Raymond
E. Shaw Elementary School, a 423 student intermediate school grades 4 -
6
- Millbury
Memorial Junior/Senior High School, a 936 student secondary school
grades 7 - 12
Each school’s web site contains a wide-array of information
concerning policies, programs, and extra-curricular activities that can
be accessed from this homepage.
Our district site contains additional policy and performance
information as well as links to other useful educational sites.
The Millbury Public Schools benefit from a proud tradition
of broad-based and continuous community support. We view the connection
to our community as our strongest asset. With that support, we are able
to provide our students with challenging educational experiences that
encourage excellence, lifelong learning, and responsible citizenship.

Public Schools Mission Statement
The mission of the Millbury Public Schools is to provide a
school climate that accepts all students of varying abilities and
interests and provides them with a wide variety of learning experiences
so that they will have the essential skills and abilities to be life
long learners and contributors to improving the quality of life for
themselves and future generations.
